A dialup server crashed yesterday with the message
panic: write volumeinfo
The kernel was running AFS 3.1. This appears to have been cause by a full
/site. AFS does not allow cache I/O to fail. When the AFS code tried to
write the cache file it couldn't, so it called panic(). Please forward to
Transarc a suggestion that they learn the meaning of the phrase "error
recovery".
