I think this is a bug in `more' ... it happens if I run `more <
/etc/termcap' as well.

A problem occurs with one particular option that the "more" program gives
you at its "Press space..." prompt. The ":n" option, which is supposed
to go on to the next file, works fine (in that it doesn't do anything but
beep). However, if you present a numerical argument to it (e.g. 1:n),
it responds with:
...Skipping
...Skipping back to file more
