On vs 6.0c release, the X protocol warning:
Warning: Protocol rev. of client does not match server!
is accompanied by program termination about 50% of the time. I think
the published behavior is that a protocol mismatch should always result
in termination.
To duplicate:
in an xterm;
/usr/bin/X/xprochart
