What were you trying to do?
hf77 -c /mit/ellis/temp/pdesac.f
What's wrong:
The compile process fails during the the following:
/bin/as -strict -J -o pdesac.o /tmp/F7728083.s
and gives the following error(multiple times):
"/tmp/F7728083.s", line 25768: Displacement 63668 not in range -32768 to 32767
What should have happened:
Either pdesac.o should be produced or a reasonable error message
should be given.
