Fixes are not installed unless they are audited. Scribe changes are
difficult to audit, because there are very few people who know a lot
about it; in fact, we are desupporting scribe gradually, so it's not
clear at this point that we should even be putting a lot of effort
into fixing scribe bugs.
The thesis bugs you report are inconveniences, not bugs. The thesis
works as it is now, it just doesn't work as well as it could. On the
other hand, there are a lot of bugs in our bug database that are
*bugs* that prevent programs from working properly. Those bugs are a
mich higher priority than fixing inconveniences in the scribe thesis
templates.
Your bug report has been filed. We will get to it when we have the
time and the manpower to get to it. Reporting it multiple times isn't
going to get it fixed any faster.
