What were you trying to do?
% xset fp default
% xset q
Font Path:
/etc/athena/login/fonts/
What's wrong:
I should get more useful fonts. There is some very
considerate courseware out there that is nice enough to reset
the font path to default after it is done messing with it. In
previous releases this was correct. In 7.2 it blows away
every font that xlogin doesn't need.
What should have happened:
Font Path:
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/
This is the font path I get when I login. It should be what I
get after xset fp default.
