We should know who the zwrites are going to
(i.e. we should know who we are).

The displaying of the "To:" field was added for a particular situation
(when a message sent to an entire instance is confused with a message
sent to an individual), but I agree with you that that particular
situation doesn't happen very often at all, and that in all other
situations there is no reason to display the To: information. I will
forward your bug report to the zephyr development team.

The font in the console window is ugly.

As far as I can tell, the font in the console window is the same as
the one that was in the last release. Furthermore, this is
configurable via your own personal X resources. See the man page for
"console" on a test workstation to find out what resources you can
use, and the man page for "config_console" to find out how to get the
console to recognize your changes.

The logout window was better the other way,
although the skull and crossbones is nifty.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "the other way," since there
have been almost no changes to the appearance of the logout window in
the new release. However, you are correct that there have been
changes to the logout window -- it is now much more configurable than
it was previously, so it is likely that you can change anything you
don't like about it. See the man page for "dash" and the file
/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Dash on a test workstation for more
information.
