What were you trying to do?
-- Run xmh and xrn under mwm
What's wrong:
-- A problem I reported earlier this semester has just reoccurred, and
this time I have a core dump...
I'm running xrn and xmh on a VS3100, when for no apparent reason mwm
crashes and I'm left with unadorned windows. I was able to secure the
keyboard to a console window and restart mwm.
The core dump file is in john-w-campbell:/usr/tmp/core.rsfinn. At the
suggestion of an online consultant, I've copied it into
/mit/bitbucket/rsfinn/core.mwm. If it needs to go somewhere more
permanent than either of those places, I'll save a copy in
/mit/6.035/rsfinn/core.mwm.
Although this is not reproducible at will, it has happened to me
before (but not for several weeks).
Machine info: CVAXSTAR, SM, 0x658000 user, 0x7e3000 (8 M) total
What should have happened:
-- Well, it shouldn't have crashed...
