What were you trying to do?
Start up something from one of my custom menus in mwm. For example, I
have the following lines in my ~/.mwmrc:
Menu Applications
{
"Applications" f.title
"XTerm1" _1 f.exec "xterm -geometry +0+156 &"
....
So I select XTerm1 in the Applications menu.
What's wrong:
Everything turned out fine, except that my console window popped up to
annoy me. I just generally found the console window to be overall to
verbose. I'm sure there are ways to get around this, but why should we
have to? It worked fine before.
What should have happened:
Same as what it did, except the console window should not have appeared.
