Pick it up quickly... UUCP spool areas are purged automatically (I think
after one week).
Remember, this takes the new ASYNC driver to obtain. No doubt, we
should also incorporate that into 7.2.
All of these are distributed by IBM, so they should not really require a
full audit. My integration was a simple pickup of the relevant files
for the async driver, with maybe a one or two line modification to
retrofit it into our kernels. I have been using the async driver on
odie for quite some time now (and even though there are changes in the
clock code, my machine is still a reliable time server).
