Type and version: KN01 7.1H
Display type: PM-MONO
What were you trying to do?
Login on console or over the network.
What's wrong:
On console on an RT, backspace/del shows up as a solid block.
On a VAX and over telnet on an RT, the backspace does nothing on the
screen. Don't know about the DECMIPS. In both cases, a character is
actually "deleted" (e.g. dm*rmorrr*is becomes drmorris), but it doesn't
show on the screen.
What should have happened:
The tty modes should be set so that delete works while typing
your username.
