Since converting to RT release 7.1, my /usr/adm file is accumulating
messages (about one every ten minutes) of the form:
Oct 11 03:13:11 NE43-513-2 s_chkaf: Unable to write to cachefile
Oct 11 03:22:33 NE43-513-2 last message repeated 3 times
...

The program s_chkaf appears to be part of the new printer system, and
it is started by /etc/rc as part of starting lpd. Since I have an
attached printer on my workstation I need to run lpd. Can I safely
remove the startup of s_chkaf from /etc/rc, or is there a way of
setting things up so that it can operate properly?
