"pop" is a superset of "mail"... I ran "mkserv pop" and it did set
SENDMAIL=true, etc. As for the other complaints:

- AUTOUPDATE... well, if the rest of it were working correctly, there is no
  reason for this to be false. I agree for some of the main servers, you
  can't risk an auto-update... I should put at least print a warning that
  this variable is left untouched.

- /usr/new/mh* links: fixed in 7.2... mh -> mh.6.6/bin, and mh.6.6/bin wasn't
  copied... oops.

- /usr/etc/zpopnotify is also now copied (in 7.2)

The sendmail.cf file is actually capable of POP service. However, it expects
mail to be addressed to user@machine.POP. Since "pop" implies "mail", you
should have gotten a warning saying to check the .cf file. I have never seen
a generic .cf file that will suit all private workstation owners. For
instance, the one on "odie" accepts mail delivered either via local mail, or
via pop, etc.

(I already told this all to you in person, so this message is mainly a response
to the chain in "bugs").
