I'd rather not have the collection of remote syslogs dwarfed by local
noise, and I'd rather not have a random mkserv'd workstation with
*.debug @SYSLOGGER.MIT.EDU
hose syslogger any more than necessary. Every additional megabyte of
noise that is logged is one fewer meg of useful data that we can
store. Logs on both machines are limited by space in /usr/adm - about
1 weeks' logs in 3 meg on wslogger and 1 month's logs in 4+ meg on
syslogger.
I don't see any reason mkserv shouldn't just make the logger machines
store *.debug, and I could change that line manually after each
update.
