What were you trying to do?
Use xim to display images under twm.
What's wrong:
The initially image comes up fine and when I put my cursor in the xim
image window it seemingly installs the proper colormap for the window
BUT it won't uninstall the colormap when the cursor leaves the window!
The entire screen remains black except for the image portion and
eventually I have to reboot (I can't even see the window boundaries).
I tried it using mwm and it worked fine so I'm assuming the problem is
with twm.
What should have happened:
The default colormap should be reinstalled when the cursor leaves the
xim image window. This happens using mwm but not twm.
