the window was in the center of the screen.
This problem went away when some processes were killed to free up
memory. They were non-X processes. There was NO error message other
than this one, which certainly doesn't suggest any memory problems...
This is a bug.
Also, the xwud of the image changed color depending on whether the
mouse was in it or not. Dramatically. Light green to vivid orange.
Salvador Dali would have loved it.
This not. If a client uses a different colormap than the default,
then mwm installs that client's colormap when its window gets focus,
and deinstalls the colormap when the window loses focus. This is
correct behavior.
