I sometimes get windows with the entire title area well off the
screen. This makes it very hard to do anything with these windows. I
generally have to use xterm to generate a window (if I don't have a
useable one) and use "ps" and "kill" to kill the application that
created the window with the missing title area.

It happens often enough to be a pain in the butt, but I have not found
a reliable way to repeat the problem. It usually happens when I am
opening multiple windows and the window in question is opened with the
lower right corner at the cursor instead of the upper left corner.
For example, today I was "getting started" by initiating an emacs
window (from comp) while selecting a number of changed meetings from
the X discuss window. While I was clicking on the meetings for
xdiscuss, the emacs window came up with the lower right corner
anchored to a slot in the xdiscuss window which I had just selected. Here I
was able to ^X^C and re-open the window. Usually it is not emacs and I don't
have any easy commands (e.g. opening a window for a xmh folder).

I think that mwm should not create windows with the title area off the
screen. Also, if there is some easier way to move the window back to
the screen, I'd like to know it. ("Cleanup Screen"???)

Thanks.
