I got this message from Jim Purdon, the consultant
from Cray, Research. can we do anything about it?

Since the recent Athena upgrade, Cray-2 emacs users
have been getting the message "Can't find font 'fixed'".
Other Cray applications die with less grace, returning
errors from XOpenFont. In all cases these problems are
fixable by specifying a font such as "9X15" when issuing
the command line that starts the X application. It would
be nice if a copy of font "fixed" was placed whereever
font 9X15 resides in order not to inconvience users of
the MIT Cray-2.
