Xaw Text widget
SYNOPSIS:
Auto-fill behaves erratically when word wrap is turned on.
DESCRIPTION:
When word wrap and auto fill are both enabled in a text widget,
the word wrap will "take precedence" over the auto fill as long as
you don't reach the bottom of the text widget. However, when you
reach the bottom of the text widget, auto fill will kick in and
break the line at that point, starting a new line at the beginning
of the next line. If you keep typing, it'll keep filling at the
end of every line, since you're at the bottom of the text widget.
The result of this is that your first line will be unfilled and
the height (after wrapping) of the text widget, while subsequent
lines will only be one line long.
It should behave uniformly -- when both word wrap and auto fill
are enabled, one of them should override the other (probably auto
fill) all the time.
REPEAT BY:
Create a text widget with auto fill and word wrap both enabled.
Type into it, until you reach the bottom, and keep typing, without
hitting RETURN. Notice how everyting you've typed up to this
point is one line. Keep typing, and when you reach the end of the
last line, notice how the line fills.

Unknown.
