There is a side-effect... any clients now sending over the FQDN who were
in some machine's /etc/exports will find themselves denied access. A
simple string comparison is done with the entry in /etc/exports, and
changing the simple hostname to a FQDN name will then cause the match
that would have previously succeeded to fail.
rpc.mountd should also be modified to canonicalize both names and
compare if the first comparison fails.
Thus, I am putting in a veto for the patch for now (until all
dependencies have been considered).
