A minor bug that keeps cropping up and is bothersome. If an xterm
window is made, then you add a scrollbar by going into the MODES pull-down
menu, everything works fine. If you later shrink the window vertically
the new scrollbar is somewhat distorted; the shaded portion of the bar
remains the same size, and is often longer than the new window. This is
seen best by making a full-length window, then shrinking it to 24 lines or
so, the standard. The operation of the scrollbar doesnt change much, but the
ability to see where you're 'looking' in the stored area is in effect lost,
as is the selection by using the middle button. Moving up and down still
work fine, as this is not affected by the actual position of the shaded
portion of the bar.

Its a bug thats not fixed in /mit/fixes/vaxbin/xterm... I thought you might
like to know about it. It shouldnt be hard to fix.

Could you tell me if it will be corrected by the time all the clusters are
updated the summer (fall, next year... whenever)? Thanks!
