The following files are not on a "stand" server, and probably should
be:
/bin/athena/hostinfo
/bin/netstat
/bin/tokens
/bin/unlog
/etc/athena/gettime
/etc/athena/shutdown_notify
/etc/arp
/etc/icheck
/etc/ncheck
/etc/writed
/usr/etc/accton
/usr/ucb/last
/usr/ucb/lastcomm
/usr/ucb/logger
/usr/ucb/netstat (same as /bin/netstat, above)
/usr/ucb/wc
The following files should probably be taken OFF the servers:
/bin/mdtar
/etc/rexecd
/etc/rlogind
/etc/rshd
/etc/telnetd
/etc/tftpd
/etc/athena/zshutdown_notify (replaced by shutdown_notify)
/usr/etc/rlogind
/usr/etc/rshd
/usr/mdec/ I hear these are obsolete on the VAX.
/usr/lib/adb/ I heard there are obsolete. Is that only on the RT?
/etc/shells Looks extraneous, unless more than just ftp uses it.
/etc/athena/initquotas Should come out of the release altogether.
/usr/.rvdinfo Should not be on the local disk, or even sym-linked.
/usr/2020 A sym-link chain leading nowhere.
