A few days ago I reported getting new mail notification without
getting new mail. Today, it happened several times in succession, and
in desperation I ran "inc" -- only to discover that I had eight pieces
of mail waiting.
In other words, rmail is losing in some way. I realize this isn't
terribly useful.. I'll see if I can narrow it down a little bit. (Now
that I think about it, this always seems to happen on a pMAX..)
