Hello!
I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I have
consistently been finding that it is impossible for me to FTP into athena
from several hosts at UMass Amherst that I have accounts on. This problem
occurs almost exclusively in the evenings but has arisen quite a few times
during the daytime also. The problem is basically that when I attempt to
open a connection to athena and then provide a username and password, athena
comes back and says that an incorrect password was supplied and that access
is denied. I still remain with an open connection however. The thing about
this that seems really weird to me is that I am consistent about the way I
attempt my connection. What's weird is that sometimes it works, sometimes it
doesn't. Do you have any clues?
