What were you trying to do?
Kill xload using xkill
What's wrong:
xkill kills xload but then the machine stops aceapting key board input, to any aplcation, the mouse still works. mwm also dies
What should have happened:
It should not freze the key baord out

I have done this twice now, I think it was with xload each time.
the xload is from my .startup.X file. It has only happed with athena 6.4R. Logout button still works.
