Give me a break, Henry. I don't accept this. It has never been true
and just plain doesn't work. If people are going to report "bugs",
suggest "solutions" which are fundamentally flawed for subtle reasons,
I'm going to speak in the same forum. My intended audience only
included you because you made the suggestion. The real audience was
the people who might see the message and decide follow through since
that would have been a mistake.
b) dan has pointed out that this would be the wrong approach in all
cases; login should build a proper password field in the passwd entry.
Very unclear, but it could the least of the evils for short term solutions.
