I just looked at your message. IBM is sending us a copy of hc2.1y. I am
looking right now at the list of bugs fixed and there is an entry that
would appear to relate to your bug. IBM appears determined to get all
bugs that they find out of hc2 and have pretty much stated that they are
very interested in all bugs. Therefore, next week, when we get the new
compiler, please test it out and if the problem still exists, we'll send
a report to IBM. The list that they provided also states what bugs are
still open.
(On a side note: They seem to be going through versions of hc2 quickly.
hc2.1w would not compile their kernels because of a problem and there is
apparently a known problem with hc2.1y which they will look at when they
get back next week.)
