To add to my previous message about cpp not having enough room for a
lot of #define's, I recompiled cpp for myself with twice as many
symbol table entries (8000 instead of 4000) and then proceeded to get:
symbol table overflow
from /bin/cc. Sigh. I suppose /bin/cc should have its symbol table
increased in size also.
