I ran "mkserv stand" on a 6.4R mvax2. The sendmail* files were all
copied to the local disk, but there's a slight problem. Two of them,
sendmail.cf and sendmail.fc are links that redirect through the urvd!
That causes a problem if I want to run the standalone server
(remember, that's what the "stand" in "mkserv stand" is for) without
the packs attached. Also, the aliases, aliases.dir and aliases.pag
files are redirected through /urvd, but I don't know that it's a
problem. (We sohouldn't need the aliases files unless the sendmail is
non-standard, right?)
Is this after updating the staff-packs? Several changes were made to
mkserv, so unless you have updated the packs, I do not know whether to
consider this valid... supposedly most of what you described has been
fixed.

Cause: The staff packs have old software; operations is aware that the
staff packs need updating, and the bug report will be obsolete when they
get around to doing the copy.
