Hi Robin!
I'm not quite sure how to explain this, but I'll do my best.
Yesterday, for some reason, I couldn't type into any of my windows.
(I'm running mwm). When I moved the cursor into any window, the border
would highlight, but nothing would happen when I tried to type there.
I could cut-and-paste things out of the other windows into my emacs window.
Today, one of my windows started acting weird. Again, the border highlights
when I move into it, but nothing happens when I type. Also, I don't
get a cursor in that window.
