Subject: I don't want to use MH
This isn't really a bug, but I think this is the best place to send
this.
As an RMAIL user, I object to the inclusion of this line -
/usr/new/mh/bin/msgchk -nonotify nomail # Check for mail
in the section of /usr/athena/lib/init/xsession controlled by the shell
variable skip_x_startup. Isn't there some way to check for mail, without
creating a ~/Mail directory, for those people who use other mail systems?
Shouldn't there be some way to abort this check other than setting
skip_x_startup and copying all the rest of the default startup into
~/.startup.X? Mail seems to be a general enough interest for it to be a
special case.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
