This seems to be a pretty sick machine. It complains of:
ra0a: hard error sn5088 pid xxx: exec: I/O error mapping pages
xxx is a number that keeps counting up. Every now and then, it also says:
<date and time> init: '/etc/athena/toehold ttyv0 console' failing, sleeping
I guess that suggests a bad sector on the disk.
