Look Henry. Let's be somewhat nice about this. He asked ME and I chose
to forward it to you. Being abrasive to users is not really appropriate,
under ANY circumstances.
As far as the telnet was concerned, it would not interact with the nameserver,
since he was specifying the internet address directly.
Consider the original message to be a bug report on hostinfo, then. This
is VERY brain-dead behavior. I tried the LCS equivalent, "host", and it
was intelligent enough to wait for an answer. I had to use hostinfo
multiple times before I got resolution... (i.e. if my initial usage started
a query, then it got flushed before I came back to Alef--I tried several
machines, then came back to Alef). Something is not entirely happy here.
