runaway xmh won't quit

I logged into a VS3100 in the student center (running 6.3B) to find an
xmh running compute bound left behind by the last user.  If you want
to figure out why it didn't exit when the user logged out, I gcore'd
it and left the corefile in /mit/bitbucket/core.runawayxmh.
