What's wrong:
When I attempted to log in this morning, my fileserver was down. I
clicked on the button to continue with a local directory. Another
window appeared saying something like "this machine's configuration
doesn't allow local directories" and offered me an abort button.
After pressing this button, the login window appeared again. HOWEVER,
the Kerberos tickets xlogin obtained with my password were still sitting
in /tmp/tkt_ttyv0 on the workstation.
What should have happened:
xlogin should ALWAYS destroy tickets when it cannot log a user in.
