Some weird behavior:
I start emacs on login with the following command:
emacs -w =80x58-5+5 &
(which means that it's in the upper right hand corner of the screen,
with a few pixels on those two edges)
I have noticed that if my mouse cursor comes into the Emacs window
from the upper edge, it does not turn into an arrow when it enters -
it stays as the root window X. On all the other sides of the Emacs,
it turns into an arrow as soon as the hotspot crosses the border. If
I click the mouse to position the Emacs cursor, it turns into the
arrow, but not until then, or until I move the mouse cursor out and
back in (from a side other than the top).
This is consistent. It seems to have something to do with the
placement of the hotspot, because if I move the window down a few
pixels, the mouse cursor behaves properly.
