I attach my home directory in activate.local so that it will
already be there when I log in remotely and don't type a
password. When I logged in with new dot files, I did not get
mappings to my home directory. I didn't look at the xlogin
code, but my guess is that it is seeing that my home directory
is there and not trying to attach it. I didn't get a warning
about local home directory or anything like that. If the home
directory is already attached, xlogin should try to map. If it
is not attached but the directory exists and has stuff in it,
then it should say "using local home directory".
