xlogin only allows 20 characters for a password. This is an
absurdly low number.
I beleive login uses 128, which would be better.
Also, when I logged out using the new dotfiles, I got an error
in end_session with a message that my session was still running.
I had no windows or windowmanager, however, so I had to go in
remotely to kill my session. That failed, however; the xlogin
process (I think) was hung. I eventually ended up rebooting.
I think that logout should NEVER fail. If it get's too
confused, it should just kill all the user's processes or
something. This business of being told that my logout failed
several seconds after logout is executed and after my windows
are gone has got to go.
I won't tell you that the logout button is in the wrong places
because everyone else already has :-)
