Most (but not all) of the RT's in 2-225 are configured with login
windows that are 64 lines long, so once the window is filled far
enough to scroll, the user's input typing disappears below the bottom
of the screen edge.
The problem is that the wrong version of /etc/ttys is installed.
1. hotline: The /etc/ttys on those machines needs to be replaced.
2. bugs: whichever RT install pack has the wrong /etc/ttys needs to
be fixed, so that future installations are right.
3. Release engineering: make sure that the right /etc/ttys is in
the next release.
Someone should check the other public RT's to see how widespread this
problem is.
