Hi Jacob,
If that's the case (that "lp" isn't used on Athena boxes),
then you probably have solved it. I won't know until I'm
back on campus.
That said, this was the default setup and it must be the
same for thousands of students, no? (At least those whose
accounts were established around the same time as me. I
am a first year grad student in STS.)
