Thanks for reporting it; I've tracked it down to a bug in afsd that was
introduced early in the OpenAFS 1.4.1 release cycle, which I've
submitted a patch for.
Rather than deploying a new afsd, we can workaround this problem by
adding the csail.mit.edu cell to /usr/vice/etc/CellAlias. I've added it
to the master copy of that file in /afs/athena.mit.edu/service, and
Athena machines will pick up a new copy when they next reactivate. If
your machine doesn't reactivate frequently, you can also manually run
/etc/athena/config_afs by hand to pick up the change.
