What's wrong:
Since this is a public cluster machine, I should be the only user
listed. I verified that PUBLIC=true in /etc/athena/rc.conf.

The user ait is not currently in /etc/passwd, and is not the owner of
any currently running processes.
What should have happened:
The user ait should not have shown up when I ran w. I've seen this
many times on the 6.004 lab machines, but I just assumed it was some
sort of cleanup issue since those machines have PUBLIC=false.
