I tried twice, and got only a pause of maybe five seconds at
"Initializing settings...", after which login proceeded normally.
kchen said on zephyr that he reproduced the problem with paco on
cutter-john, but his stack traces of the two running gconfd-2 processes
showed them waiting at the main loop. So I need a stack trace of the
activation-client process, if one is running, or for someone to figure
out what other command is hanging if one is not running.
