Matlab crashes and exits.

Almost surely the same problem... I'm on it with the Mathworks... no news yet..

matlab -ver 7.0 seems OK too; oddly, matlab -ver 7.0.1 isn't. If we can't
get this fixed by next week, I may need to roll the Linux default back to
7.0. I've just put authuser:rl back on the matlab_v7.0 locker- can you release
it now so others can use it? Lucky I wait a long time before deleting old
lockers...

All the problems seem RHEL4 related- none show up on machines running Athena
9.3 (or 9.2).

olc: if you get users reporting anything similar, can you ask them to
try matlab -ver 7.0 (after Camilla release the volume- hopefully
shortly) and let me know if that doesn't solve the problem?

                                      Thanks,

                                             Alex
