Red Hat has historically backported hardware support rather than updating
kernels, so while I wouldn't expect 2.6.12 I *would* expect to see this
support.  It's not in their current beta (2.6.9-16.EL), though.

There's some info that might be marginally useful here; I wish it had
gotten some attention from Red Hat, but not yet:
