I have 2 vax gpx's being used as nfs servers. After up to a few days
of use, the portmap program seems to die, and they stop serving. I
have a core file found in /etc, which appears to be a portmap core
file. John Kohl looked at it, and thought it might be NGROUPS
lossage. The only clients to these servers that I know of are each
other and the athena cluster next door; the only people in the
credentials file are people in the lab, John Kohl, and John Carr (who
were helping last night). The core file is
venus:/u1/scr1/jh/portcore. You have to attach -e venus:/u1 to get
it. Please tell me when I can nuke it...
Thanks,
