What were you trying to do?
I was trying to start up OpenOffice.org to convert a document
	written in OpenOffice.org to MSOffice.

What's wrong:

The following error appears on the command prompt each time I
	try to start OOo:

javaldx: could not create link of name:
	/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/a/l/alexp/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/user/temp/java/a
which links to /usr/java/j2sdk/jre/bin, symlink error: -1

I tried to start OOo twice, once with gathrun and once with
adding the locker first, but each time it did not start.

I also got the following error in a popup box. This error
could have simply been a result of the first error messing
with everything. The text of the message is this:

[a leading space] cannot be started due to an error in
accessing the [extra space] configuration data.

		Please contact your system administrator.

The following internal error occured: GetStorage,
name: "No Content! [no final quotation mark]

[An OK button is at the bottom of the dialog.]

On Solaris, the first error about alexp's userspace does not
occur, but the popup error does still occur.

What should have happened:
OOo should have started so that I could edit my document.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	None.
