At a guess, the machine was interrupted during an update ("athinfo
w20-575-16 update.log" shows a truncated log) and needs to be
reinstalled.

That's normal, if suboptimal; the "go" icon comes from KDE, but
gnome-panel treats it as a stock icon, and complains harmlessly if it
can't find it.
