What were you trying to do?
Attempting to open the "Revised IS&T Plan for staff review
(8_2004).doc" file with Abiword.
What's wrong:
Abiword remains fully responsive, but takes up most CPU cycles, and
does not open the file. If the file is specified on the command line,
the display area where the file should be remains gray. If the file
is opened with File->Open, the initial blank page remains blank.
This happens on both Sun and Linux platforms.
What should have happened:
The file should have been opened.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Abiword opens other Word files properly. OpenOffice.org also opens
the file properly.
