I've decided that this is broken; the menu commands should update both
the clipboard and primary selections, as similar commands already do
in Evolution and Mozilla.

I've submitted a change to make this happen (also for right-clicking
on a URL in gnome-terminal and selecting "copy link location"), but I
don't know if I will put it into the 9.3.7 patch release. It should
make it into 9.3 eventually, though.
